On week 11, our class will be designing and building paper skimmer boats. Once the students have built their skimmers to their liking, they will be competing in 4 different categories (speed, distance, weight of cargo, and aesthetic). Students will be able to use the engineer design process to develop their skimmers and then improve it by making a second one.We will use this to explore measurement, distance, speed and velocity, mass.
